Without a doubt, Portugal is becoming a world destination. The capital Lisbon is a charming city filled with quaint restaurants, cool cablecars and a booming nightlife. The small country also has an immense history and a pretty diverse climate. But beyond the obvious choice of flying in, popping a few bottles of wine and watching the big Atlantic Ocean waves crash into the majestic cliffs, Portugal also has a booming adventure industry.
The most obvious is it’s surf culture. For a country the size of California and a coastline running its entire length, it’s no doubt surfing has taken off. But for the ones who have a hard time paddling out to bob up and down like a piece of meat, Portugal has many other adventures to be had.
